Be friendly,Be inclusive.

About

We are the charity foundation Friendly People. Being friendly are not just words to us. It is our mindset and our world vision. At our core of our activities as a charity organization lies friendliness: to each other, to our partners and beneficiaries, to societies at large.

Great news!

An inclusive playground near Childrens Hospital Ohmatdyt is opened!

We dreamed of such inclusive playground for a very, very long time and then we met magical Eugenia Smirnova. We fell in love with her and her project "School of Superheroes", joined our forces and now we can finally show what came out of such a tandem.

Our Mission

We promote Friendliness.
We want to show all active citizens and business that making a difference here and now is possible even with little resources. We can implement locally what is of use and interest globally and vice versa.

Vision

 We believe in Friendliness.
We dream about an inclusive society both in Ukraine and worldwide. We want the interests and needs of disabled people to be regarded by business and authorities. We strive to live in a tolerant environment where people with disabilities feel dignified.

What We Do

We live Friendliness.
The lack of appropriate infrastructure for children with disabilities deprives them of a happy childhood and a chance to successfully integrate into society. This creates isolation and breeds the ‘invisibility’ of disabled which in turns makes society less carrying and inclusive. Our answer to that is simple. We create child-friendly spaces that have the necessary equipment for all children to access and enjoy playgrounds. What is important – we build such spaces on existing playgrounds by equipping them with additional elements accessible to all. By doing this we not only establish the necessary infrastructure, but also promote inclusive development and socialization of all children. An indispensable part of our work are information campaigns about the needs of disabled and creative solutions to existing challenges. In awareness raising among authorities, business and activists we see the first step to actual problem solving.

Our team:

We are a team of dedicated young people with different backgrounds and skills that complement each other in our strive for inclusive and sound societies. Each of us brings his or her strength and experience to this project: from Government relations to humanitarian aid, from marketing to design, from PR to movie production. We believe our multi-facetted experience creates untrivial and creative solutions and projects.
